International Award for Young introduction people (IAYP)
The Award is a programme with a framework of 4 sections and 3 levels. Entry into the Award is voluntary and open to all young people between 14 and 25. There is no competition between participants once the participant has completed each section and the additional requirement of Residential Project at Gold level. His Record Book is sent to Award authority for approval and arrangement are made to present his Award.

Entry into the Award Programme is a challenge and opportunity for the students to -
  • Develop Skills
  • Take up new interests
  • Experience adventure
  • Make new friends
  • Help to Community
  • Acquire individual responsibility.
Summary of General Conditions
There are 3 levels of Award
Bronze: for those over 14 and under 25
Silver: for those over 15 and under 25
Gold: for those over 16 and under 25

For each level, participants have to complete the requirement of each of the 4 sections-
Service to others.
Adventurous Journey:-
AIM- to encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery.

Skills
AIM- to encourage the development of personal interests and practical skills.

Physical recreation
AIM- to encourage participation in physical recreation and improvement of performance.
At gold level, participants must complete an additional requirement.

Residential Project
Aim to broaden with others in a residential setting.

SCHOOL REPORT (IAYP)
The international award is an exciting, self development Programme available to all young people world wide equipping them with life skills to make a difference to themselves their communities and the World To date over 200 young people from our school have been motivated to under take a variety of voluntary and challenging activities like-
  • Trekking on the plane & hills
  • Service to the old age people in old age home.
  • Service to the patients in the Hospital and during blood donation comps.
  • Pariticipation in various physical recreational activities etc.
Last year 37 students of OPJMS awarded with the international Award and this year more than 60 students will be able complete the Award and receive Award in the form of batch and a certificate.

We hope that this Award Programme help them to explore their hidden depth of character and develop them as a good human being in the process. Now that's a sign of achievement.
