To commemorate the 88th Birth Anniversary of Bauji, students and staff of OPJMS organized a series of activities. The day commenced with a floral tribute to our Founder Father Shri O P Jindal by the students and staff. Speeches, poems, melodious songs and special assemblies signifying the life and achievements of Bauji were put up. The tiny tots of Block A (Students of LKG to II) planted trees inside the premises and took a promise to keep the Mother Earth clean and green.

Children of Block B (Classes III to V) took part in a series of events on 6th and 7th August. A quiz and documentary based on Bauji’s journey to reach the pinnacle of success that others can only dream of and try to emulate was conducted. Students participated in a theme based Poster Making Competition on Bauji’s contribution in the field of education.

Students of Block C (Classes VI to VIII) presented a Skit on the entrepreneurship and vision of Bauji that commenced with starting a pipe unit with the tag ‘Made in India’, setting up schools and hospitals for the welfare and well-being of the common masses.  A presentation on the life and journey of our founder father was shown to the students and guests.

Members of SMC would be glad to know that students from 14 schools presented their views for and against the topic ‘The Moment One Believes He Has Reached Perfection, Retrogression Begins’.

Professors from local colleges were invited as judges on the occasion. They interacted with the participants and raised questions on the subject of their speech.
