OP Jindal Modern School, Hisar is a Senior Secondary, Co-educational, English Medium Day school with a strength of over 3000 students. Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi vide Affiliation No. 530256 (School No. 04291) the school is run by O.P. Jindal Charitable Trust. It is situated amidst lush green congenial surroundings away from the pollution of city life. The school building incorporates the latest in layout and design. The school has made tremendous progress since its establishment in June, 1997 when the foundation was laid with about 650 students from LKG to Std. VIII. Each year a class was added and finally by 2001 the school was upgraded to Class XII. What had begun as a mere thought grew into a huge institution with a strength of over 3000 students. A couple of sections per class reached the number of six sections per class. A double storeyed building grew into a triple storeyed building. A couple of staff rooms could not cater to the requirements as the number of teachers proportionately kept increasing keeping the student-teacher ratio in mind. The school which started with 25 teachers in 1997, within a span of 10 years, today, has 130 teachers on roll. Instead of just two staff rooms, today we have 10 staff rooms.

In order to groom the finer skills in children, various laboratories like English Laboratory, Mathematics Laboratory were introduced which have added glory to the quality of education imparted in school.

The school which had just three buses in 1997 today owns a fleet of 22 buses. A three storeyed building could not accommodate the rapidly increasing strength. Hence, a separate wing for junior children was started to reach out to more and more children and make them feel comfortable.

There is yet a lot to achieve. There are miles to go before we sleep. We do not believe in reclining against a wall or relaxing but we believe in toiling day and night to make the stay of children in school highly fruitful.
