Investiture Ceremony at OP Jindal Modern School, Hisar

The investiture ceremony of the newly elected student council consisting of twenty eight members was held on 27th February, 2010. Investiture Ceremony is a traditional feature of OPJMS organized every year. It is the formal investing of a student with authority, power, right, office and dignity.

The election process started with a leadership workshop organized for the students of class XI by the respective house wardens. The candidates were then interviewed by the panel. They were further shortlisted and went through a rigorous question-answer round. Finally the student’s council was elected by the votes cast by the teachers and students. These elected students were adorned with badges and the house flags which symbolize the duties and responsibilities that rest on their shoulders.

On this occasion the Principal administered the oath to Saransh as Head Boy, Saloni Egbert as Head Girl, Saurav Atree as Sports Captain (Boys) and Anjali as Sports Captain (Girl) and prefects of six houses.  The prefectorial board promised to keep the school\'s tradition undefiled and school flag flying in full mast. The proud parents were also a part of the Investiture Ceremony.
