O P Jindal Modern School, Hisar marked a significant milestone on 9 August 2026, as Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, inaugurated the school’s newly constructed building complex on the occasion of the 96th birth anniversary of Late Shri O. P. Jindal Ji.The programme commenced with a ceremonial welcome by the NCC Band, followed by a tree plantation drive led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, members of the Jindal family and distinguished dignitaries.The Hon’ble Chief Minister inaugurated UTKARSH, the new Administrative Block; UDAY, the Academic Block dedicated to children with special needs; and UDGAM, an international-standard indoor swimming pool. The centrally air-conditioned auditorium, UTSAV, was inaugurated amidst Vedic chanting and the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp.The occasion was graced by Smt. Savitri Jindal, Chairperson Emeritus, Jindal Group and Hon’ble MLA, Hisar; Shri Ratan Jindal, Chairman, Jindal Stainless Ltd.; Mrs. Deepika Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Lifestyle and Chairperson, School Managing Committee; Shri Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director, Jindal Stainless Ltd.; and Ms. Nandita Sahu, Principal, OPJMS, along with several distinguished dignitaries and officials.Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated the Jindal family’s continued commitment to education, innovation and nation-building.
